3 Heavy weights in one single shot!
A great concert! When can you experience 3 well known bands - performing for about 1 hour each - all in one night?
BUSH - Similar to STP: Energy, chemistry but perhaps Gavin stole the show when he spontaneously took an 8-minute tour around the venue!! I was at the rear and he walked right by me! My only disappointment was the absence of 'Greedy Fly', my favorite.
Switchfoot - Regrettably, it was evident that many attendees were only there for the first 2 bands, based on the number of people who departed (I'd estimate 25%). Decent show - I missed 'Coming Down' and 'Nirvana' - but the energy wasn't as high (considering they are on average 5-10 years older).
STP - Jeff Gutt isn't Scott Weiland (and he shouldn't feel pressured to be), but if he didn't wear sunglasses, you wouldn't even notice! They kicked off at full throttle, brimming with energy and chemistry - both among themselves and with the crowd!
